5. Leadership Women in STEM & Climate Change
Homeward Bound participants go through a twelve-month training program that is focused around the topic of climate change and concluded with an expedition to Antarctica.

I'm the Chair of the OWSD Mexico National Chapter.
The Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD) is an international organization that provides research training, career development, and networking opportunities for women scientists throughout the developing world at different stages in their careers. It is a program unit of UNESCO and is based at the offices of The World Academy of Sciences in Trieste, Italy.
•Re-Activation of the National Chapter.
Promotion and coordination of activities aimed at increasing women's participation in science.
Enhancement of networking and mentoring among members.
•Enhance and generate collaborations with other chapters in OWSD and more organizations in the areas of equity, innovation, science, and technology through science diplomacy practice.

The mission is to promote Science Diplomacy in Latin America and the Caribbean (DiploCientifica), and the communication between the scientific and diplomatic communities, policymakers, academia, civil society, private sector, and other sectors through the generation of spaces, capacity building, and production of constructive knowledge.
As a member of this organization, I work with the Science Diplomacy Observatory Committee and the Communications Committee.
